Rihm Family Companies Update to Our Valued Partners Regarding COVID-19

Mar. 25 2020 Announcements By Kari Rihm, CEO & President

Valued Customers and Suppliers:

As we all tread in uncharted waters regarding the COVID-19 situation, I want to inform you of how Rihm Family Companies (Rihm Kenworth, Rihm Leasing and RMC Truck Parts) is approaching the situation, ensuring we are providing you the service and support you can count on amid the rapidly changing times.

Rihm Family Companies continues to monitor the situation and acting on the requirements from the CDC/WHO and local, state and federal governments.  We are taking appropriate measures to protect our customers, suppliers and employees from the virus.  For example, we are educating our employees on the risks and signs of the virus.  We are instructing all locations to assess and replenish disinfectant supplies.  Additionally, employees are being instructed on what processes need to be put in place to ensure their own personnel safety and the safety of our visitors.  All our facilities will execute rigorous cleaning procedures to include offices, parts areas, and the devices we use to service your equipment.

The success of your business and our community is very important to us.  Our goal is to continue to deliver the service and support that you depend on, while implementing preventative measures to ensure safety for all.  Part of that effort includes using the CDC/WHO guidelines for maintaining 6 feet social distance between individuals, allowing only essential visits and utilizing technology to keep us connected.  During this time, let us know if you have a preference on how you wish to work with Rihm.

The uninterrupted continuance of your business is top of mind and I want to assure you that our focus and unwavering dedication will continue.  We have the resources and plans in place to deliver the service support and parts you need, including ensuring availability for mission-critical businesses and applications both in the shop and in the field.  In addition, Kenworth, Paccar Parts, and many other suppliers are adhering to the direction of the CDC/WHO and will continue business as usual, which includes production of trucks at their factories and parts deliveries from their distribution centers.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your local representative, branch or business partner.  In the meantime, I want to assure you that Rihm Family Companies remains committed to serving your business needs while taking the necessary steps to help safeguard the well-being of our customers, suppliers and employees.
